Adapting Beyond Limits & Expectations

Levi Strauss & Co.’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are global affinity groups helping employees connect with colleagues who share lived experiences, culture and passions.

Among them is A.B.L.E. (Adapting Beyond Limits & Expectations), an ERG dedicated to supporting employees with disabilities and special needs.

SFDBA was honored to participate in A.B.L.E.'s Disability Pride celebration by delivering the keynote address and leading an interactive American Sign Language (ASL) workshop.

Together, we explored disability as an essential part of the human experience and discussed how accessible communication, inclusive design, and a culture of belonging empower people to contribute their talents fully. Participants also experienced the value of learning basic ASL as a practical way to foster more inclusive interactions with colleagues, customers, and community members who are Deaf.
