The San Francisco Disability Business Alliance (SFDBA) is a disability-led organization that advances disability justice by empowering entrepreneurs and professionals with disabilities, advocating for accessibility and disability inclusion, developing disability leadership, and developing partnerships that transform how businesses and communities engage with disability.

What we do

SFDBA ensures that individuals with disabilities have an equal and inclusive opportunity to have healthy and productive lives, make their mark in the business world and that the Bay Area benefits fully from the expertise, diversity, and innovation these businesses and individuals have to offer.

Inspire people with disabilities to start their own business
Empower through training, counseling, mentoring and technical assistance
Build a community to exchange ideas, share resources and collaborate
Advocate for programs and policies to better serve disabled-owned businesses

Wheel of Pride: Navigating Life

July 7th 11AM-2PM, San Francisco Public Library

Join us for a life-size version of the classic board game LIFE. This fun event will be moderated by Peter DeHaas, our founder and executive director. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and ASL interpretation will be provided. Register HERE.

This event is organized by SF Community Living, a non-profit organization helping elderly people and people with disabilities stay connected, independent, and involved through local programs, tech support, food deliveries, and advocacy.

Built to Last: Five Years of Disability-Led Business

Nov 5th, 2025 - SFDBA celebrated its 5th anniversary during its annual Bay Area Disability Entrepreneurship Event and delivered a powerful message, highlighting how entrepreneurship can open doors to self-sufficiency and allow individuals with disabilities to thrive as business owners.
