Economic Empowerment 2-day event organized by Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) and the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) to identify the unmet needs and gaps in policies, services and advocacy for persons with disabilities across the nine Bay Area counties.

Small Business Week - Panel discussion organized by SFDBA during Small Business Week 2025 and bringing together leaders committed to building an inclusive world, their message is clear: (1) Businesses that prioritize accessibility position themselves for growth, loyalty, and long-term success. (2) Small, intentional changes in accessibility can yield significant returns, especially for agile businesses.

Organized by University of San Francisco - Gellert Family Business Center, community leaders, business owners, and student entrepreneurs explored new pathways and opportunities in family business and small business. Peter DeHaas discussed how SFDBA is reshaping the narrative around economic equity, access, and empowerment.
