Boost Awards program

The Boost awards program provides funds to help boost the success of disabled entrepreneurs.

All applicants must run a business in San Francisco and have some type of disability that poses a challenge to their success in launching or growing their business. Awardees are selected based on the viability, innovation, and impact of their business as well as their determination to succeed.

Funds are limited, however we do expect to have 3-5 winners this year getting up to $1000 award check each.

How it works:

STEP 1: The application for our 2025 Boost Awards will open mid-July.

STEP 2: A small number of finalists will be chosen for a short virtual interview to discuss their application.

STEP 3: Final awardees will receive their awards at the North Bay Disability Entrepreneurship Event held in October 2025 (exact date and time to be determined).

  • Paris Mason, founder of the Birthing Mothers Self Care Initiative, empowering new moms with self-care and community support.

  • Connie Chu, founder of TriC Enterprises, an author and publisher giving a voice to the disability community.

  • Brian Davis, owner of Niners Radio 49, who is a podcaster, broadcaster, and influential figure in the 49ers fan community.
