SFDBA was invited by the The Wharton School to participate in a panel with other community leaders and advocated once more for the disability community acknowledging the tremendous benefits of AI tools to enable accessibility for all, but also cautioning against relying solely on technology, underscoring the importance of maintaining human connection and empathy.

Peter DeHaas, our Founder and Executive Director, will be participating at the Economic Empowerment session of this 2-day event organized by Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) and the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) to identify the unmet needs and gaps in policies, services and advocacy for persons with disabilities across the nine Bay Area counties.
